HOW TO IRON ON PATCHES

Our embroidered patches can be used to decorate clothes and accessories by using a domestic iron at home.

※ Iron-on is not suitable for materials that cannot be ironed or pressed, or cannot withstand high temperatures such as nylon, acrylic, urethane, vinyl, leather and those with water-proof/ resistant or special coating such as raincoats and canvas bags.

How to iron-on a patch using a domestic iron

  1. Turn your iron to the medium-high temperature setting (the highest temperature that your base material can tolerate) with no steam (and make sure your iron does not have any water inside). Use a piece of cotton pressing cloth(that will not have colour coming off).
  2. Lay the base item on a flat surface such as an ironing board. Place the patch in the chose position on the item, followed by the pressing cloth over the patch.
  3. Press the iron down on the patch, holding for approximately 15 seconds.
  4. Do the same on the back side of the item. Make sure that you press it straight down vertically, so that the patch will not shift about.
  5. Leave it to cool down.

Follow the steps above 2-4 times. Check if the patch is fixed on the item. The temperature and the duration of ironing depends on the material of the base item.

※ Please be careful not to burn the base material or the patch when ironing.
