HOW TO IRON ON PATCHES
Our embroidered patches can be used to decorate clothes and accessories by using a domestic iron at home.
※ Iron-on is not suitable for materials that cannot be ironed or pressed, or cannot withstand high temperatures such as nylon, acrylic, urethane, vinyl, leather and those with water-proof/ resistant or special coating such as raincoats and canvas bags.
How to iron-on a patch using a domestic iron
- Turn your iron to the medium-high temperature setting (the highest temperature that your base material can tolerate) with no steam (and make sure your iron does not have any water inside). Use a piece of cotton pressing cloth(that will not have colour coming off).
- Lay the base item on a flat surface such as an ironing board. Place the patch in the chose position on the item, followed by the pressing cloth over the patch.
- Press the iron down on the patch, holding for approximately 15 seconds.
- Do the same on the back side of the item. Make sure that you press it straight down vertically, so that the patch will not shift about.
- Leave it to cool down.
Follow the steps above 2-4 times. Check if the patch is fixed on the item. The temperature and the duration of ironing depends on the material of the base item.
※ Please be careful not to burn the base material or the patch when ironing.
